Slow Progress is Better Than No Progress!

Just because you aren’t making progress as fast as you think does not mean you aren’t making progress at all. Keep going. Slow progress is better than no progress and honestly, I just wanted to remind you of that because sometimes we get so ahead of ourselves .. we lose all patience and get frustrated !! We get mad when we don’t see positive results as soon as we’d like. We get aggravated when things don’t necessarily go our way and when doors don’t open when we think they should. I am so guilty of all of this because I’m the type of person that gets excited about my future! I just know that all the work I’m putting in will literally pay off one day but sometimes I get annoyed because I wish that “one day” would be so much sooner than later haha.
I’m learning to appreciate the seasons though! There is literally a time for everything and as I’ve said before .. whatever it is you’re waiting on God for, you might as well learn to wait well because you’re not going to rush God. That’s just not going to happen so you can just forget it. He moves on His own time, not ours and when I get to where I’ve kind of forgotten that, He definitely finds a way to remind me of it !! So with that being said, keep doing things now that you can look back and thank yourself for later! One day at time and small steps at time will eventually get you to where it is you’re trying to go 🙂
You are not a failure and you’re actually doing a really good job!! I’m proud of you!

Be Grateful ❤

Try to begin each day with a grateful heart. Before you start complaining, take a second to think about how blessed you really are. No matter how bad your current circumstance may be right now, understand that things could be worse.. far more worse. As a matter of fact, be grateful for the bad things in your life. Be grateful for every single thing that challenges you because whether you realize it or not, it’s building both your strength and character. While you’re waiting for God to move, be thankful and grateful for all that He has already done for you and keep in my mind that there’s somebody out there somewhere that has it wayyy worse than you do right now. Oh I’m sure they would choose your bad days over theirs in a heartbeat!! You may be dealing with some issues concerning your job but at least you have one to get up and and go to everyday. There are people out there worried about where their next meal is coming from and others that may not have a place to lay their head and sleep at night. I’m not just talking about homeless people. I’m also talking about single parents who are struggling to provide for their children.. living paycheck-to-paycheck, at rock bottom and to be honest, some of them probably feel like they’re below rock bottom. I know that struggle and it is NOT easy! You know… there are people who are at constant war with depression and anxiety.. battling reoccurring suicidal thoughts. There are so many parents grieving the loss of their children due to gun violence, not just in the schools but in the streets too! There are people out here with real problems and I’m not saying that your problems are just as important. I’m just saying.. be grateful and remember that no matter how bad it gets, it could always be worse. I promise. It’s so easy to fall into the trap of forgetting how blessed we are. Maintaining an attitude of being grateful is something we need to do daily on purpose!

I love you guys and I hope y’all have a great day!! XOXO❤
