Be Grateful ❤

Try to begin each day with a grateful heart. Before you start complaining, take a second to think about how blessed you really are. No matter how bad your current circumstance may be right now, understand that things could be worse.. far more worse. As a matter of fact, be grateful for the bad things in your life. Be grateful for every single thing that challenges you because whether you realize it or not, it’s building both your strength and character. While you’re waiting for God to move, be thankful and grateful for all that He has already done for you and keep in my mind that there’s somebody out there somewhere that has it wayyy worse than you do right now. Oh I’m sure they would choose your bad days over theirs in a heartbeat!! You may be dealing with some issues concerning your job but at least you have one to get up and and go to everyday. There are people out there worried about where their next meal is coming from and others that may not have a place to lay their head and sleep at night. I’m not just talking about homeless people. I’m also talking about single parents who are struggling to provide for their children.. living paycheck-to-paycheck, at rock bottom and to be honest, some of them probably feel like they’re below rock bottom. I know that struggle and it is NOT easy! You know… there are people who are at constant war with depression and anxiety.. battling reoccurring suicidal thoughts. There are so many parents grieving the loss of their children due to gun violence, not just in the schools but in the streets too! There are people out here with real problems and I’m not saying that your problems are just as important. I’m just saying.. be grateful and remember that no matter how bad it gets, it could always be worse. I promise. It’s so easy to fall into the trap of forgetting how blessed we are. Maintaining an attitude of being grateful is something we need to do daily on purpose!

I love you guys and I hope y’all have a great day!! XOXO❤

ONE Characteristic You Need to Make SURE Your Partner Has Before Getting Married !!!

C O M M U N I C A T I O N !!

..& I’m not just talking about the basics of communication either. I’m talking about effective communication! Effective communication is not about exchanging information with your partner. It’s about making what you want to say, is what you actually say & your partner interprets consistently. The goal of effective communication is to create a common perception that is received in a positive manner, so that you can TOGETHER agree on a further action or decision…even if that just means that the other person will allow you to continue speaking! It’s important to be able to say what you want and need to say without it coming off as disrespectful or careless. I cannot stress enough how critical this type of communication is. You’ll save yourself a lot of arguments, headaches and stress in the future. Make sure your partner isn’t the type of person to get mad at you for expressing what upsets you… even if it’s not deep to them, it could be a serious matter for you and you want to make sure you have someone that will respect your feelings.. & you can’t tell your partner they can come to you about anything but simultaneously get heated when constructive criticism is throw your way, for the sake of the relationship.. you just {c a n n o t} do it. Genuine consideration and effective communication is they key and without it, your relationship/marriage is bound to fail.
