Your words can be more healing than any kind of medicine. They can be more toxic than any kind of poison. They can ease a mind of its nagging questions. They can relieve a heart from its doubts. The can free a heart from the chains that keep it holding on and that make it fear letting go. They can spring hope into a deserted heart. They can shatter a soul barely holding on to the pieces that make it strong. They can be a shelter for the broke and a canon of motivation for those who need confidence. They can also build mountains of confidence and build stairs to those dreams that hide above the clouds. They can dig holes into the darkest and deepest of scars. They can strike happiness into the souls in most need of it, and they can strike sadness into the souls of those most far away from it.
Words are so powerful .. so make sure you use them wisely. As a matter of fact, focus more on using them towards uplifting others and yourself. Remember, the words you speak eventually become the house you live in. Speak positivity into the atmosphere on a daily basis and watch how things around you begin to change .. including your own personal mood. When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

However, I am glad to be back in the positive atmosphere of blogging!! First of all, I want to apologize because I’ve been kind of MIA and inactive with my blog over the past week. If you’ve been keeping up with my blog, you’ll see that I’ve recently just started a new job. After a year of working in an office, I’ve decided to go back into healthcare !! To be specific, I am currently a Certified Nursing Assistant and strongly considering Nursing School. I’ve been offered the opportunity twice in the past to go to Nursing School but I turned them down because I feared failing out and not actually making it through.
Nursing School is tough and you have to really really be committed to it in order to make it to the finish line but for some reason this time around I’m more confident in the fact that I can do it so I believe I’m going to give it a shot !! After starting in healthcare and then taking a break to test the waters of something else, I found that my true passion is helping and taking care of other people. I didn’t fit well in the office but I definitely feel like this part of healthcare is where my calling is at.
As you can see I’m a little excited in this picture! Excuse my eyes though haha this filter has them looking a little creepy!
This week I have completed my first full week on my new job and I have to be honest .. I LOVE IT !! I feel like a natural fit. I guess it’s because I already kind of knew what to expect for the most part. The hardest and most challenging thing for me has been the struggle to get my body back adjusted to this type of work. Oh my gosh !! I really didn’t think it would be this rough. My feet have hurt SO bad everyday from being upon on them for several hours at a time and my back has been very sore from lifting and tugging on the patients to transfer them either into their beds or wheelchairs. Thankfully, my Husband has given me multiple massages and I’m just so grateful for him because if not, I probably would’ve whined about it until he finally gave in. 😂😂
So yeah , this is pretty much why I’ve been MIA on the blog this week! I’ve been very busy with getting adjusted to my new job 💙 I just want to say thank you to everyone who has still taken the time to stop by blog and show me some love !! I look forward to catching up on everything that you guys have been writing about so if you notice me commenting on some of your posts from dayssss ago, I’m just catching up! Love Y’all !! I wish you nothing but good, strong, positive vibes from this side of the world !! xoxo!
It is so important to leave people in the season that God intended for them to be a part of. Seasons naturally change in our lives just like the weather and it’s inevitable. Have you ever tried to put a fallen leaf back on the tree it fell from? It is impossible to reconnect and reobtain growth. Same way with people who no longer serve purpose in our lives and I promise if you ask God to show you who needs to fall, He will. I was just saying this yesterday and I’m going to say it again today .. Not everyone can go to the next level with you. When God is taking you to that next level, there’s NOT going to be room for everyone on that journey. Be able to accept that. Not everyone can always enter the space you’re called to. Be OK with that and go anyways! Love from a distance when it becomes necessary and transition into your new season.
This post was inspired by a beautiful heart, Montana Danielle as well as when I was going through my own season of learning to love people from a distance or just simply learning to love them where they were.
There will be a natural process of elimination that occurs on your journey. You have to pay attention to what’s happening in your life and don’t try to interrupt the process. People will show up and show their true colors and you have to respond accordingly. You may have to cut off some people whom you’ve considered friends. You may have to cut off some family members. Anyone who is toxic and refuses to grow and change must be left behind until they are ready to catch up. There will always be separation before elevation. Be ready for it and the natural occur.
