21. No NEGATIVE thought formed against me shall prosper!.

22. This is my “winning season” .. even if God has to carry me through it because I can’t afford to lose again.

23. EVERYTHING attached to me will win !!

24. If God brought me to it, He will bring me through it.

25. God is still good, even on my worst days!

Everything that I’ve listed here is a lot of what I tell myself on some of worst days, my worst moments, my days of depression, when I’m stressed or just overwhelmed with pure sadness. As you can see, I encourage myself in God more than anything else. At the end of the day, I KNOW where my help comes from and I also know that it’s not up to other people to keep me encouraged. It’s up to me. Encouragement comes from the inside.

You better learn how to start encouraging yourself, speaking back to your storms, your situations and your circumstances. Self Encouragement is so important and to be honest .. it has helped me get through some mighty rough days!! Remember, it’s not what we say out loud that really determines our lives. It’s what we whisper to ourselves that has the most power. Thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog today!! xoxoxo!!

7 Advantages of Blogging!

Related image

For those of you who don’t know , I’ve gotten to where I don’t make the “blogging award” posts on my page anymore. Don’t get me wrong, I’m extremely, extremely grateful for those of you who have nominated me on several different occasions and for many different awards. I just don’t want to publish too many of those posts and distract my readers from my niche and what I promote, which is Self-Love & Self-Care for the most part. However, I was nominated by another fellow blogger, Dynaxty, for the “Awesome Blogger” Award.

As I was reading his post, I noticed a question in there that made me personally think and want to answer myself – What are three advantages of blogging? Although he was asked to only list three of them .. I came up with seven !! So this particular post is literally inspired by both the Awesome Blogger Award and Dynaxty !! If you have not connected with him yet, I strongly urge you to do so šŸ™‚ He is a VERY encouraging, wise and uplifting person. I love connecting with people like that. I enjoy reading his posts and sometimes his blog is one of the ones that I personally seek out when I’m needing some encouragement or inspiration myself. You can find him here:Ā https://dynaxty.wordpress.com/

S E V E N Advantages of {.B L O G G I N G.}

1. Blogging helps depression! I have actually already written a post on that and exactly HOW it helps. If you haven’t read it already, you can check it out hereĀ Blogging Helps Depression

2. Extra Income! You can easily make pocket change from blogging but if you’re really serious about wanting your blog to be successful .. you can become a full-time blogger and make a lot of good money! It’s hard work though! I will tell you that and it takes time. It’s definitely not a get rich quick scheme.

3. Blogging gives you theĀ opportunity to make new friends !! You might think that sounds crazy because you’re making friends with people online but at least it helps with the loneliness! I have personally enjoyed connecting with other people who I have yet to meet in person but have a lot of the same things in common with me.

4. Learn New Things – in the world of blogging, you also have theĀ opportunity to LEARN new things from other people and their cultures !! I love it and I think it’s neat! I have really enjoyed connecting with people from Nigeria and I’ve been blown away by some of the things I’ve learned about their culture! Absolutely amazing.

5. Encourage Others & Share Your Story– Blogging offers you theĀ opportunity to share your story and encourage people ALL OVER THIS WORLD !! You’d be surprised by the amount of people who will actually find healing in your words and your very own personal testimony.

6. Blogging is a GREAT way to promote your business if you have one.

7. Gain Influence – What’s the best way to change the world? You could become a politician, activist or volunteer… OR you could become a blogger! A successful blogger gains a wide audience of people who trust and respect them. The more of a positive influence you have on people, the bigger the impact will be too šŸ™‚

Little More Kindness, Little Less Judgment

Please understand that you only see a portion of a person’s life, not fully knowing every little thing they are going through. Stop being so quick to jump to assumptions or write them off because you may think the “portion” of what you know they are going through is insignificant but rather, be kind, keep your mouth closed regarding things you do not have facts on and simply pray for them. We all face daily battles that nobody knows about and that’s just the truth. There’s a story behind every person. Why they’re the way they are. Keep that in mind the next time you get ready to judgement someone. Today will never come again. Be a blessing to someone. Be a friend. Encourage. Take time to actually care. Let your words heal others and not wound them.

When You Don’t Feel GOD..

d8f05ccad141f8a54f933843405ddda1.jpg

When you don’t feel God, remember that your walk with him is much more than a few emotional goosebumps. In fact, He’s most verified in your everyday, seemingly little, acts of obedience. He’s glorified in your day to day service, the dedication of your work, the love and honor you show to those around you and the way you live your life as His example – the invisible moments of your life that no one sees. You abiding in God & Him abiding in you is not measured by your emotional response. It’s measured by your application – the fruit of your every day choices, in your attitude, in your dedication to stay on the course.

Sometimes, it seems pointless or hard to keep spending time with God or praying when you don’t “feel” Him but I promise you He’s there. Keep going. Keep pushing. Keep Praying!Ā

Always Be A Work in Progress!

20180603_183705.jpg

Don’t ever stop striving to better than you were yesterday, no matter how far you think you have fallen off. When I really reflect on the fact that God hasn’t ever left me in some of the situations I KNOWINGLY put MYSELF in, I am constantly reminded of His love & purpose for my life. You don’t have to stay where you’ve been nor should you let anyone guilt trip you into thinking you can’t move forward. You can. Never stop working on the betterment of yourself. Work on becoming the best version of yourself everyday and decide that no one should get in the way of living your best life. ā¤

Sometimes we get so bogged down and focused on other people and what they “need” to work on that we neglect the fact that we really need to be working on ourselves. Don’t be that person who thinks they’re completely flawless because I promise you there is always and I mean always room for self-improvement. You’re allowed to be both a masterpiece & work in progress, simultaneously šŸ™‚

Grow a lot. Pray often. Love more.
