First of all, I want to apologize because I’ve been kind of MIA and inactive with my blog over the past week. If you’ve been keeping up with my blog, you’ll see that I’ve recently just started a new job. After a year of working in an office, I’ve decided to go back into healthcare !! To be specific, I am currently a Certified Nursing Assistant and strongly considering Nursing School. I’ve been offered the opportunity twice in the past to go to Nursing School but I turned them down because I feared failing out and not actually making it through.
Nursing School is tough and you have to really really be committed to it in order to make it to the finish line but for some reason this time around I’m more confident in the fact that I can do it so I believe I’m going to give it a shot !! After starting in healthcare and then taking a break to test the waters of something else, I found that my true passion is helping and taking care of other people. I didn’t fit well in the office but I definitely feel like this part of healthcare is where my calling is at.
As you can see I’m a little excited in this picture! Excuse my eyes though haha this filter has them looking a little creepy!
This week I have completed my first full week on my new job and I have to be honest .. I LOVE IT !! I feel like a natural fit. I guess it’s because I already kind of knew what to expect for the most part. The hardest and most challenging thing for me has been the struggle to get my body back adjusted to this type of work. Oh my gosh !! I really didn’t think it would be this rough. My feet have hurt SO bad everyday from being upon on them for several hours at a time and my back has been very sore from lifting and tugging on the patients to transfer them either into their beds or wheelchairs. Thankfully, my Husband has given me multiple massages and I’m just so grateful for him because if not, I probably would’ve whined about it until he finally gave in. ππ
So yeah , this is pretty much why I’ve been MIA on the blog this week! I’ve been very busy with getting adjusted to my new job π I just want to say thank you to everyone who has still taken the time to stop by blog and show me some love !! I look forward to catching up on everything that you guys have been writing about so if you notice me commenting on some of your posts from dayssss ago, I’m just catching up! Love Y’all !! I wish you nothing but good, strong, positive vibes from this side of the world !! xoxo!
Love love your post!! This is a battle for everyone this days.. Trying to find your calling… I love that you did find yours…you are a strong women.. Don’t give up….take one day at the time..thank you for sharing this with us…β€β€

Awhh!! Thank you so much!! π I agree , finding your calling is tough and sometimes it helps to step away from what you think might be your calling, try something else and see if It’s really your calling. I won’t be leaving healthcare anymore unless I’m starting my own business lol. Thanks for reading !!!

Nursing is a field of work that you have to love and enjoy.
I spent 30 years in heating and air and enjoyed it most of the time. Around the age of 50 I started getting really depressed and burnt out with the trade and working all the time.
I think it started because I wanted to spend time with my granddaughters and couldn’t because of working all the time.
I got out of heating and air to work in a factory but still totally burnt out, I’m now 57 and have been working full time for 40 years.
After reading books on how residual income can give a person financial freedom and make life a whole lot easier I wish I had learned about it at a much younger age.
That is why I am hear writing a blog on a simple business system to build residual income.
People need good nurses that love what they do so I am happy for as I am sure all your followers are.
Have a super wonderful day.

love it! I’m also a CNA, well I work full time in an office now, but I am a CNA still in my heart and pick up cases when I can! I can relate when you say you find joy in being out and caring for others… I’m still trying to think of a master plan to get back to that! Good luck wit everything! β€ β€

Hi! I just graduated nursing school and I was working as a CNA the entire span of the program. There were plenty ups and downs. It is hard working full time and having nursing school full time as well…. but the end is worth it.. … Just know that YOU GOT THIS!
-sincerely,
an exhausted but proud nursing graduate that is cheering you on! β€
