When The Struggle Becomes Overwhelming..

20180613_213720.jpg
I was little discouraged earlier. I’m not going to say why but I will say this .. these words down below lifted me and gave me my strength back! Sometimes we have to experience things we don’t understand so God can bring us to the place where He needs us to be. Trust the process and never doubt the season that God has you in.

“Maybe it’s not supposed to be easy for you. Maybe you’re one of the rare few who can handle tough times and still choose to be a loving person. Maybe it’s going how it’s going because you’re built for it. Maybe it’s just your time to refine. Maybe the pieces are being put in position and maybe it’s not a test at all, maybe it’s all being prepared for your good and rushing it could ruin it.. Maybe you’re as different as you feel and maybe you’ll stay strong long enough to teach other people to feel the same about themselves. Maybe we’ll call it love. Maybe this is just the way your growth looks and it’s okay to accept that. As long as you know you’re giving it your all and the very best of you, keep going! Don’t stress a thing. It’s going to work out because you’re not going to stop putting the work in.” -RobHillSr.
I hope these words are encouragement to you just as they have been to me today! May the struggle make you STRONGER baby!!πŸ’ͺπŸ’–πŸ’›

    1. This was an amazing comment! Sometimes at times when we felt so discouraged, but then also remember how we made it the the other side to where optimism is! Life is what we make it because we can change our outlook on those bumps in the road.

  1. Sometimes discouragement can be a blessing in disguise. It forces us to reevaluate things we may have other wise paid no attention to, it humbles us and yet it motivates us to as the old folks say to keep on keeping on! Always remember that God has you in the palms of his hand. I’m praying that tomorrow is 1000 times better. 😘

  2. I understand totally, sometimes life just appears too damn tough. I hope things become okay for you soon. Just take one day at a time, I find that it helps me. Does not make stress seem so overwhelming. I hope you are okay soon.

  4. This has been me for about a month and a half–in a slump, feeling discouraged and ready to quit. This is a great reminder to stay the course. I definitely need this today.

I hope your stress is diminishing and your strength increasing! πŸ™‚

  7. Well… I’m going through a similar phase for almost a whole year…. Though initially I did believe in this and a lot of constructive changes took place, I’m now desperate for it to simply be done with….

I’m glad you have found your way out… Thank you for posting this! πŸ™‚

    1. Honestly, today has been rough for me. I thought I felt better earlier but then things got worse. Just when I thought things couldn’t get any worse actually DID .. but literally 30 mins ago … I ran into a breakthrough πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ I got some good news and it was very well needed with the kind of day I’ve been having today!! ❀ I pray that your situation gets better soon and I pray that things turn out to work in your favor. Things aren’t 100% working in my favor but it’s still better than what’s been !! Hang in there. You got this!

      1. Yeah… I get it, the ‘good times, bad times’ thing. I too keep oscillating between feeling good and feeling desperate. Right now, it’s the ‘bad times’. For me the thing that usually works is a potent distraction. As long as my thoughts are ably channelled elsewhere, I’m alright. But when they are not, I’m simply overpowered by this. Not to mention that the person responsible for this (apart from me) is the one with whom I HAVE to spent around 2 hours daily….

        So yeah, it sucks.

Thank you for praying for me! And I’ll pray that things brighten up for you too! πŸ™‚

  8. WOW Jessica this was yet again so uplifting and encouraging. Life seems to never be easy, but we always manage to get through it all and even stronger. You are the most inspirational person I have had the pleasure to get to know. I am so sorry that your day was rough, but yet you still encourage your readers magnificently! You are courageous and amazing!! I loved the quote you shared and it really made me smile! I needed that!

  9. I just now got a chance to read. Thank you for putting it in a different perspective for me and making me cry, ruining my face which now has to be reapplied before work. LOL Darn mascara is not water proof. Have a good day. πŸ™‚

  10. I’m reading this from my husband’s bed side. It hasn’t been long that he’s in hospital but I already feel the heartache of watching him suffer helplessly in pain. Thank you for the encouragement.

  11. Wow I just find your words so inspiring to keep going strong!
Our daughter almost died soon after birth in a freak circumstance. Only God could have brought her through almost unscathed. I just reblogged her story. At BloomsandBeautifuls.wordpress.com
It is a daily struggle for me to push fear out of the way and Trust in Gods plan.
