Use your words to build people up because words are powerful. SO powerful. They leave a lasting impact. So when it comes to your mouth, think of it as a power tool and be very careful with it. Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless. Aim to be more of an encouragement to others instead of tearing them down. Try to make it to where your words leave other people inspired, not frustrated. A little more kindness and a little less judgement will take you a long way in life with people. Always remember that. Treat people the way you want to be treated, not how you have been treated. {.Kindness.} is free! You should totally sprinkle that stuff some of everywhere!!
Empowered people, empower other people!
Thanks for visiting my blog today! I pray that today is a great day for you!

I believe words have power too. Today with everything so depressing going on all around the world, more people need to do what you are doing – spreading a few good words. I truly hope positive words like these makes a difference. Let’s hope for the best!

WOW Jessica, this was incredible!!! I have always said that words hurt way more than anything else. Heck, bruises heal over time, but hurtful words permanently scar our hearts and do not easily heal. The hurt words cause seem to never leave our minds and heart, so I always do my best to choose my words carefully. We unfortunately do not have a rewind or delete button when it comes to life, so we are not able to delete words we speak that cause pain.

I know this will sound really crazy, but I would rather heal from physical bruises that hurtful words. Those hurtful words never really leave our minds even if we try!

That’s not crazy at all! Words have a huge impact on self esteem !

Thank you! Some people like to say the way I feel about certain things is crazy, but that is okay it is their problem not mine! Words do have an enormous impact on emotions and self-esteem. Of course bruises have an impact as well, but they do heal in time!

Beautiful! The most apt phrase for me “treat people the way you want to be treated, not how you have been treated! Love it!

Your absolutely right! I’ve always believed that there’s never an excuse to be mean or rude to anyone. Like 6:35 reminds us to “…continue to love your enemies and to do good and to lend without hoping for anything back; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind toward the unthankful and wicked.” When we think about Jehovah God being kind to the unthankful and wicked we learn from his example. Spreading kindness is not only the right thing to do but we can uplift ourselves when we’re going through trials.
