February 2018 Made Me GRATEFUL For…

FEBRUARY.. my goodness, it came and left pretty fast this year! Needless to say, I am very excited about that! I’m glad to finally see Spring on its way!! 🙂 It’s probably gonna rain for the next two weeks here in Tennessee but that’s alright! Spring is coming!! I’m not a big fan of Winter as you can tell but this month has still been beautiful regardless!

The one thing I’m most grateful for this month are my income taxes!!  You’re probably laughing but I’m serious! Most people around this time of the year use their income taxes to splurge on themselves. It’s the best time of the year to treat yourself to things that you don’t normally get to do very often due to circumstances or other financial shenanigans. It’s YOUR money, you worked hard for it and you deserve it! Spend it however you choose! My Husband and I definitely treated ourselves and the kids but for the most part.. this was catch up money for us! We have spent the past 4 months fighting to keep our heads above water (financially) so when we finally received our income tax money, it was like a breath of fresh air! I’m not trying to knock other people for how they choose to spend their tax money. That’s none of my business but you know you’re maturing when you get that much money and your first concern is on bills! Whether you’re behind or caught up and want to get ahead, you know you’ve matured when that’s the first thing you consider. True sign of growth in adulthood. Anyway, that is what I’m most grateful for this month! I thank God for it. Our income taxes definitely helped get our finances back on track and that alone relieves so much stress. You have no idea! haha. Now the goal is to stay ahead! The only way to beat the struggle is to stay ahead of it !!

Can you name ONE thing that you were grateful for this month!?! I could’ve named a bunch but I won’t do that to y’all today ! haha 🙂 Don’t forget to like, comment, share or subscribe to my site if you liked this post or any of my other posts!!

  1. Tax returns are a BIG help! That’s definitely on the list of things to be grateful for. I know for sure, I am also grateful for all of the friends in Christ that I’ve made this year. Becoming more involved in my Church and navigating through social media has definitely been a blessing in meeting people with such life and positivity, you included ❤️ Hahaha but thank you for sharing!

    1. Awwhh! That’s so sweet and thanks for sharing! ! Honestly, I’ve been working on getting back involved in Church as well. I haven’t fallen away from God at all. My relationship with him has always been pretty steady but you know how sometimes “church folks” can discourage you with their religious ways.. that’s kind of what happened to me and I just stopped going but I’m glad to be going back!! 🙂 Getting that F R E S H Word of God on a Sunday is refreshing and it helps me start my week off right!!
